Cyclo-cross season in Wales gets underway this weekend with the popular Cardiff JIF ‘Calfburner’ held at Llanishen High School.

Known for its fast course and typically good conditions, this year’s course has been radically altered to avoid building works within the site. While this means that the course will be substantially different, Cardiff Jif have managed to plan a technically interesting and enjoyable course suitable for all types of rider. Racing gets underway at 09.50 with the new U6 category for tiny riders with big smiles.

Take advantage of the online entry discount by entering by close of Thursday the 13th of September.

Non-British cycling members will have the opportunity to join British Cycling via the Welsh Cycling gazebo at event registration; a great opportunity to enjoy the benefits of BC membership and to save money on future entry fees so if you’ve got plans to get stuck into many more Cyclo-cross events and more, then membership is a great option.
