Following a successful opening round at Pembrey Country Park, the 2015 Welsh Mountain Bike XC Series moves to Mid Wales and the compact, punchy course at the Royal Welsh Agricultural Showground. Cycle-Tec, promoters of the popular Scott MTB Marathon Series, will, once again, be our hosts on Sunday 26April.

The course is centred on the parking hill overlooking the showground but do not be disappointed by first appearances. It features all the essential ingredients for a fun racing experience, using the various terraces and wooded single track to take you up and down the hill. There are short, sharp climbs, fast, flowing single track and a rock garden to negotiate; A and B routes will ensure that all abilities are catered for. Commentary, a computerised results service, first aid and caterers will all be on hand.

There is a Master category but riders with full racing licences will be awarded ranking points at the next lowest points band to the Expert and Sport categories.

Technical assistance during a race (not a bike change) is permitted only in the feed/technical assistance zone; repairs and equipment changes can be carried out by the rider himself or with help from a team-mate/mechanic. This applies to all categories.

Helmet/chest/handlebar-mounted video cameras are not permitted when racing.
