Three Welsh riders will be part of the Great Britain team at the forthcoming UCI Junior Track World Championsips. British Cycling has named the junior track cycling squad who will compete in Glasgow from 7 to 11 August 2013.

Welsh Junior Programme athletes Amy Hill, Emily Nelson and Hayley Jones will compete at the competition next month.

British Cycling Performance Manager Shane Sutton said: “I’ve been impressed with what the young GB endurance riders have produced on the road this season, and it will be interesting to see how that transfers across to the track. Holding the event in Glasgow is a great opportunity for this young squad to compete in a home environment and the whole team is looking forward to getting on the start line.”
