Club News: Welsh Cycling Annual General Meeting
The 2013 Welsh Cycling Annual General Meeting (AGM) will be held at 11am on Saturday 21 September 2013 at the Wales National Velodrome.
The AGM is an opportunity for clubs and members to have their say on matters that affect cycling in Wales. Clubs will also have an opportunity to nominate for President and Directors of the Welsh Cycling Board, as well as a number of motions.
Clubs have 21 days to confirm representatives, submit nominations and motions. The deadline for all nominations and motions is 5.00pm on 9 August 2013.
Representing your club
All affiliated clubs are entitled to a set number of representatives, as set out in section 4.3 of the Union Byelaws. This includes:
1) One representative for up to 9 Welsh Cycling members
2) Two representatives for between 10 and 24 Welsh Cycling members
3) Three representatives for between 25 and 39 Welsh Cycling members
4) Four representatives for between 40 and 54 Welsh Cycling members
5) Five representatives for 55 or more Welsh Cycling members.
If representatives are unable to attend, voting can be cast by proxy. Full details can be found in the following supporting information.
