Roberts and Horne medal at Dublin International GP

Amy Roberts and Ciara Horne both medalled at the Irish International GP held at the Eamonn Ceannt Stadium, Dublin on 6 July 2013.

18 year old Amy Roberts competed in both the scratch and points events in Dublin, taking 5th in the points race early in the day which was won by Scotland's Kate Archibald. Abergavenny RC rider Amy Hill punctured during the points race.

The scratch race later in the afternoon saw Roberts reach the podium, taking bronze behind Charlene Joiner with Kate Archibald taking her second win of the day. Amy Hill returned for the scratch race, finishing 7th in the international field.

Ciara Horne qualified third in the 4km Individual Pursuit, facing Belgian rider Els Belman in the ride off for the bronze medal. Horne rose to the challengr, taking home a bronze medal. Ireland's Caroline Ryan took the gold, with Kate Archibald returning to the podium for silver.
