Shane Sutton OBE returns to the scene of his Professional win in the Grand Prix of Wales and the Milk Race when he tackles the Tumble mountain which figured in many races during his Professional Cycling career.

Why not make this the year you do something really special and challenge yourself to ride one of the distances of the sportive which is open to all abilities. The three distances cater for all, join legendary cycling commentator Hugh Porter MBE for the 20 mile leisure route, the 50 mile tough route or accompany Shane in the epic 100 mile ride.

The 100 includes the climb of the infamous Tumble Mountain which will be the main focus for the competitors in the Grand Prix of Wales the following day. Why not also in the process do something extra special and feel good raising money for the North Gwent Cardiac Rehabilitation &  Aftercare Charity or a worthy cause of your choice.

This major event within the Abergavenny Festival of Cycling sits alongside the Elite Series Wales Open Criterium the Premier Road Race Grand Prix of Wales and the Para GP of Wales all based in the town centre of Abergavenny the Capital for Cycling in Wales. With increased participation, a new start and finish area, feed stations with recovery and toilet facilities, free parking on site with extra overflow parking close by.
