Amy Hill leads Energiewacht Tour after two stages

The 67.1km course from Uithuizen to Eemsmond saw a lot of activity from both the Wales and Great Britain cycling teams, with Amy Hill (Wales) and Emily Kay (GB) in the lead group for the majority of the race. There were a few crashes on the course, with Wales' Manon Lloyd being caught up early on but managed to get back on to the main bunch.

Amy Hill and Emily Kay were both involved in a crash at towards the end of the stage, but worked together to get back on to the leading group, with Amy finishing in the bunch and still leading the tour after two stages.

The final stage on Sunday will leave Groningen on a circuit through Haren, a total of 71.7km.
