More than 30 clubs have so far completed the online survey which forms part of the Independent Review of Welsh Cycling.
Those who haven’t managed to complete it are ecnouraged to do so quickly, as the online survey will stay open until Thursday, 28 March. The survey can also be downloaded in PDF.
While there are only two days left to complete the survey, members are invited to feedback to Sport Structures until 12 April by email.
Welsh Cycling has contracted Sport Structures to undertake an Independent Governance Review to consider the governing body's current structure and propose modifications.
It includes a separate review of Welsh Cycling's developmental department.
These are important pieces of work for cycling in Wales at a time when interest in cycling is at an unprecedented level following a successful Olympic and Paralympic Games.
Three regionally based workshops in the north, south and west of Wales were last week succesfully held as part of the review, which is fully supported by British Cycling and Sport Wales.
The consultations have provided the consultants with some strong views about the future direction of Welsh Cycling. Read a report from the workshops.
Some participants felt that the online survey didn’t give them an opportunity to express the same views as they did during the evening consultations.
Therefore members of Welsh Cycling are encouraged to send their thoughts on the following:
- What does Welsh Cycling do well?
- What are the key elements of support Welsh Cycling give to Clubs?
- What could they do better at?
