Riders entering the upcoming second round of the Welsh Mountain Bike Series (WMBS) at Coed y Brenin Forest on 3 March, can now take advantage of a peaceful night’s rest with exclusive discount accommodation.

Coed y Brenin Forest is nestled in the heart of the Snowdonia National Park

Trawsfynydd Holiday Village, just two miles from the race course, offers a range of Log Cabin holiday accommodation nestled in the hillside of the Snowdonia National Park. A five per cent discount is available to any riders looking for a relaxing overnight stay to complement their racing.

There is still time to enter the WMBS Series event at Coed y Brenin and entries close on Wednesday.

To boost the series, a special two-night weekend, or four-night midweek stay will be offered entirely free as a prize to the rider with the biggest overall winning margin at the end of the series.

This means riders in any category could claim themselves a relaxing break in one of the top regions in Wales for mountain biking and tourist attractions.

With plenty of parking and in easy reach of villages like Dolgellau, Porthmadog, Blaenau Ffestiniog and Betws-y-Coed, Trawsfynydd Holiday Village is ideal for riders, groups and families looking to break the journey, or make a weekend of Snowdonia’s breath-taking scenery.

The Village is offering discount on a range of its self-catering two and three-bedroom cabins sleeping between four to eight people, with accommodation ranging from bronze to platinum to suit all group sizes and budgets and ample room for bikes.

Each cabin has a lounge, bathroom, and a fully equipped kitchen, and many accept pets if any riders have the family dog coming to support. Riders can ask at the time of booking if they want to lock bikes inside the cabins.

For those looking to make a weekend of all that Snowdonia has to offer, the Village is 20 minutes from the new Antur Stiniong downhill and freeride centre at Blaenau Ffestiniog and 30 minutes from the Marin Trail and Penmachno Trail near Betws-y-Coed, and the Mach trails in Machynlleth.

To apply the discount to a booking, entrants may call 01766 540219 and quote WelshXC5. Discount cannot be applied to bookings made online.
