Team USN conclude their first track season at the final round of the 2012/2013 UCI Track World Cup series in Aguascalientes, Mexico.

Roberts, Barker and Horne receive bronze medal in the Women's Team Pursuit

On the final day of competition, Elinor Barker, from Cardiff, completed the Women’s Omnium event despite mild illness. Elinor posted 3:39.016 in the Individual Pursuit, finishing 9th. She went on to cross the line 15th in the Scratch race and her time of 36.878 in the 500m TT placed her 15th in the overall Omnium standings.

George Atkins made his debut for Team USN in the Madison with Jon Mould. The British National Madison Champions, again both recovering from illness, picked up an early sprint point in the event. They later finished 13th in the competition, with French pairing Brisse and Boudat taking the win.

Team USN leave Mexico with a bronze medal in the Women’s Team Pursuit, with all team members gaining valuable experience in preparation for the 2014 Commonwealth Games in Glasgow.
