Welsh Cycling has launched its consultation on the Welsh Cycling Events Strategy and welcomes views on the proposed strategy.

There is a growing popularity within the sport of cycling in Wales in existing high profile events and the international success of athletes. Welsh Cycling believe there is a need to focus on developing the right events, as well as maximising their impact, in order to support the growth of the sport, alongside developing talent and generating more business.

For this consultation, we have three lines of questioning that we would like you to consider:

  • Do you support the proposed priorities and strategic actions – if not, why not?
  • Do you have any suggestions to add to the recommended strategic actions and solutions to the issues identified?
  • What part would you/your organisation like to play in helping us deliver the strategy - and in what fields of interest?

Please forward your observations, in response to the above questions, within the relevant consultation comment columns in the tables contained within the following document.

Download the Welsh Cycling Events Strategy – Consultation Framework.

If you wish to receive further background information, a full working draft strategy document is available on request.

We would like to receive your feedback by Monday 19 October 2015.
