Location: Manchester Velodrome National Cycling Centre, Stuart Street, Manchester
Event: 5 January 2013
The National Cycling Centre in Manchester will host the British Cycling National Madison Championships in a double header on 5 January 2013 - the same day as Revolution Series Round 3.
The first Saturday of 2013 will see a packed programme of action at the Manchester Velodrome. The Madison takes place between 1pm and 4pm in the afternoon before the Revolution takes over in the evening.
The double bill format has proved a great success for the Revolution Series in the past: The afternoon event will be a chance to see some top elite endurance riders, before the evening programme focuses on sprinting.
There will be qualification races for the evening's sprints during the afternoon session plus Future Stars Madison races.
FACE Partnership MD James Pope said: "Our Manchester Revolution events are almost entirely sold out, so the National Madison Championships is a great chance for fans to see some elite track cycling this season. We're expecting bigger crowds than ever before."

The first three Revolution Series events, all in Manchester, are sold out. Tickets are on sale for round 4 in Glasgow on 2 February.
