Location: Quibell Park, Scunthorpe
Event: 28 September 2012
Report: Steve Parsons/Snowdon Sports

The final night of racing at the Universal Cycle Centre Track League at Quibell Park in Scunthorpe fell victim to the rain, just as many rounds of the popular league have done so this season.

Riders had just about finished getting warmed up for the night’s racing when the heavens opened five minutes before the first race was due to start, forcing organisers to cancel the programme.

However, there was still something to smile about with the League presentations being made, with League sponsor Dave Marsh of Universal Cycle Centre present to do the honours.
