NEXT STOP GLASGOW!

British Cycling, in partnership UK Sport, Glasgow Life and EventScotland, is delighted to confirm that the TISSOT UCI Track Cycling World Cup series will be returning to Britain in 2019.

Glasgow’s Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome will host the second round of the series from November 8-10, with the event representing a crucial chance for nations to register qualifying points ahead of Tokyo 2020 – secure your seat for the final lap on home soil.

How to get to the Sir Chris Hoy Velodrome - Emirates Arena

We are directly across the road from Celtic Park. You can access the Arena from the main entrance on the East End Regeneration Route.

By road

At junction 2A on the M74, take the A74 exit to Tollcross / Cambuslang. At the roundabout, take the exit onto Fullarton Rd / London Rd / A74​.  Then take a left onto the East End Regeneration Route.

By bike

The Arena is only a 10 minute cycle from Glasgow City Centre and both Glasgow Central and Glasgow Queen Street train stations.

By bus

There nearest bus stops to the Emirates Arena are at The Forge Retail Park just a short walk away.

By train

The newly renovated Dalmarnock Rail Station is just a short walk from the Emirates Arena. Train services at this station run on a 4 per hour basis all day on Monday to Saturday on the Argyle Line through Glasgow Central Low Level. Dalmarnock Rail Station operates a limited service on Sundays. The nearest alternative station is Bridgeton.
