Sir Bradley Wiggins made a victorious return to the track with the Great Britain Cycling Team as part of the winning team pursuit quartet at the Revolution Cycling Series.
The 35-year-old was joined by Ed Clancy, Owain Doull and Steven Burke as the four set an encouraging time of 3:54.974 in the newly-developed Derby velodrome on Friday.
British Cycling Olympic Academy athletes Germain Burton, Chris Latham, Matt Gibson and Ollie Wood were impressive to take second in 4:01.055.
On an evening which saw the Great Britain Cycling Team dominate, Joanna Rowsell Shand triumphed in a close individual pursuit final with teammate Ciara Horne.
The 2014 world champion completed the 12 laps in 3:37.320, just over two seconds quicker than Horne.

Laura Trott completed an all-British podium, quicker than burgeoning talent Emily Kay.
Scot Callum Skinner took an outstanding win in the kilo, overcoming world champion and record holder Francois Pervis. The British champion stopped the clock in 1:01.135.
Sprinter Katy Marchant, carrying her fine form that saw her crowned under-23 European keirin champion in July, celebrated victory in the 500m time trial.
Marchant saw off a challenge that included teammates Jess Varnish, Danni Khan and Shanaze Reade to win in 34.117 seconds.
Katie Archibald rounded off a fine evening for Great Britain by taking a lap to win the scratch race, Laura Trott again on the podium coming in second.
Competition continues on Saturday and concludes on Sunday.
