There are still places available for this event. There are early morning buses from Newcastle College car park to Maryport Marina. Then there's a ride of 80 miles on flat Solway coastal roads, lunch in Carlisle and then climb up into Hadrians Wall Country. The first evening sees bunkhouse accommodation at Winshields Farm and a pub meal at Twice Brewed Inn.
The second day is 45 miles down the Tyne Valley on minor roads and then riverside cycle path for lunchtime finish at Newcastle Quayside.
There's broom/support wagon in attendance throughout carrying food,drink, spares and luggage.
