Get in the saddle and join Cotswold Care Hospices 50 or 100 mile cycle challenge. Whether you are an experienced rider aiming to get a fast time or a rider aiming to make a day of it and take in the sights of the picturesque five valleys, this ride is for you.

The Cotswold Crunch is a perfect selection of rolling hills, lung bursting climbs, and spine tingling descents along with a few flat sections leaving you time to admire the beautiful Cotswold scenery and allow for some recovery!

50 mile route

The 50 mile route is ideal for cyclists who have not tried a sportive event before or who are not confident of their ability to ride 100 miles around fairly hilly terrain. The 50 mile ride is still a challenge but should be within the abilities of anyone who has done some training.

100 mile route with 12 hills and 1,548 metres of climbing

Those wanting to take on the 100 mile route will enjoy the challenge of climbing 1,548 metres of climbs and will showcase some of the less obvious climbs and sections the area has to offer. This route is about maximum output, testing climbs and exciting descents. The additional 25 mile loop for the 100 mile ride is however fairly flat to entice you into completing the century!

The two courses provided will primarily run on quiet roads away from the main flow of traffic. Full support is on offer to all cyclists with rider and medical support as well as a sweep vehicle. There will also be feeding stations manned by friendly volunteers serving sandwiches, fruit and drinks and lunch will be provided.
