Sunday 19 August |

Organised by the Rotary Club of Chipping Sodbury, the Sodbury Sportive 2012 is an excellently varied ride starting and finishing in the medieval town of Chipping Sodbury, near Bristol. The route will take you through some of the prettiest highways and byways of the region. Fast, flat sections are combined with some challenging steep climbs of the Cotswold ridge. Quiet lanes, fantastic scenery and superb views across the severn valley make this ride not one to be missed. Gold, Silver and Bronze target times for each distance give each rider an extra hare to chase.

Upon returning to the event HQ riders will be rewarded with free food and time to relax and reflect on the ride. A bar will also be open for those wanting further refreshment. The roads used by the event are inspiringly scenic, mostly fast and flowing with some tough climbs, but this is a rewarding ride in every sense.
