Entry for one of the most popular sportives - the Dartmoor Classic - is (0900 October 29) and, although an extra 200 places are available, another record sell-out is expected. Last November, all 2800 slots were filled in 3 weeks, while a further 400 were happy to be registered as reserves.

The new race village location has been confirmed as Newton Abbot Racecourse and has allowed the greater entry limit for the 65 and 104 mile events, which takes in the National Park.Previously, Abbrook Park Sports and Social Club, in Kingsteignton, near Newton Abbot, has been home to the Mid-Devon Cycling Club for many years and has played host to the UCI. ratified sportive since its inception in 2007.
