Event: 20 July 2014
Location: Bideford RFC, Victoria Park, Kingsley Road, Bideford, Devon, EX39 2QQ

The Two Moors 100 has been running for seven years and is firmly set in the UK sportive calendar. This timed event is not only for seasoned riders who relish testing their endurance and improving their performance on the 100mile route over the Exmoor and Dartmoor hills.

There is also something for newer riders and families who may wish to ride the alternative 100km (60m) course, perhaps riding at a more leisurely pace through some of the best coastal and rural scenery in the country.

The organisers of this event are the Rotary Club of Bideford Bridge who are renowned for their thoroughness and friendliness that brings entrants back year on year. Sponsorship money for this event is divided equally between a registered charity of your choice and charities and causes supported by Rotary.

Many entrants take advantage of the area’s beauty and attractions by coming with their family and friends over the weekend to enjoy the surrounding area of North Devon. This year’s event on 20th July will be no exception as the historic Bideford Water Festival is taking place in the town on the same day, see www.visitbidefordbay.com

Many other activities take place throughout the area over the week such as the Somersault Festival. For details of events and accommodation go to www.northdevon.com .
