Event: 4 May 2014

The first Cycle for Amy Sportive is now up and running.

We are running this sportive in memory of our beautiful daughter Amy, who sadly lost her battle with brain cancer nearly two years ago now. Her memory lives on through the charity work we continue to do, to date we have raised around £250,000

Monies raised through entries to the event along with the event sponsors will go to Children’s Charity Childflight.

Come and join us for what will be a great event and day just by entering you will be making a difference.

We have three routes to offer all levels of sportive riders a challenge 26 miles, 55 miles and the epic 100 mile route for the hardened rider and all around the beautiful Cheshire countryside.

The first 20 miles of the route will be completed by all riders taking in the gentle climb up Chelford Road in Prestbury before heading down into Alderley Edge and the climb up Macclesfield Road to the Wizard.

At the Leigh Arms in Adlington the route splits and the longer routes head straight up to Pott Shrigley and the popular Brickworks climb before dropping down in to Kettleshulme before turning right for another great climb up Side End Lane to the Goyt Valley.

After a decent down by the Stanley Arms the routes split again and the 55 mile route turns right and climbs up in to Macclesfield Forest with a few surprises along the way before the finish and the 100 mile continues on to allow you to stretch your legs.
