Not only are organisers 28-10 providing two exciting sportives in Devon – The Scorpion (30 miles) and the Devon Dipper (60 miles), they are also including in the sportive entrance fee: a full day’s membership at the Leisure Complex venue, which allows for the free use of: hot showers, washroom facilities, toilets, on-site catering, bar, restaurant, swimming pools, fishing lakes, electronic timing, way-marking, feed station, personal liability insurance, first-aid cover, mechanical support, course recovery and parking
Whether you are new to sportives or a seasoned rider, organisers promise you will enjoy their carefully picked routes. They present many memorable moments that you can discuss in the bar or on social media sites later.
The Routes
- THE SCORPION – 30 MILES - “This course welcomes and encourages riders to enjoy the simple pleasure of riding your bike through some of Devon’s most beautifully rural countryside.”
- THE DEVON DIPPER – 60 MILES - “This course presents the seasoned rider with a mental and physical challenge. A trip down memory lane to recall the exhilaration and challenge experienced when continuously going up and down until the very end of the ride.
Organisers want you to get the most from your ride, so have linked-up with some other ‘top of the tree’ professionals. Koolstof Coaching will provide tailor-made training programmes. The Massage Clinic will offer pre and/or post ride massage and Debbie Metcalfe is offering to make the event memorable with photographic evidence!
