The third edition of the Velo29-Altura Endeavour Sportive (part of Stockton Cycling Festival) will take place this Saturday (6 July) and there is still time to enter!

Entries remain open until midnight on Friday and you can even enter on the day. This great fun Sportive set in the lovely North Yorkshire Moor’s Countryside has four routes, from the 36 miles “Short Sport” to the mega challenging 95 mile Long Route. There is a route for everyone, from the occasional family rider to the die-hard sportive fan!

Riders leave Stockton-On-Tees under closed road escort, feel like a star of the Tour de France. After a few urban miles you are out in the countryside and enjoying quiet traffic free lanes on the well sign posted routes.

There are feed zones on every course as well as motor bike support, service cars, broom wagon, event goodie bags and even a free post ride massage!

The Endeavour is part of the three day Stockton Cycling Festival which starts with Stockton Town entre Races this Friday and culminates in the Premier Calendar Stockton Velo29-Altura Grand Prix on Sunday afternoon. It’s a great weekend of racing, non-competitive and all kinds of other cycle related fun.
