Nelson's Tour de Test organisers

In loving memory of pro-snowboarder, Olympic coach and keen cyclist, Nelson Pratt, who tragically died in 2012, friends have put together a superb new sportive with three fantastic routes in the stunning Test Valley.

Organisers understand that facilities for all riders are paramount and with years of riding sportives themselves, there's plenty of firsthand experience to call on. From the feed stations, route marking, to the facilities at Ride HQ riders won't be left grumbling.

The three routes are all on quiet, tranquil roads allowing you to enjoy the spectacular scenery, will be impeccably signed and offer well-stocked feed stations.

The ‘queen stage’ of Nelson’s event, the 160km (100 mile) route offers a tough test, taking in the areas best climbs, fast descents, spectacular views and only the finest roads. This was Nelson’s first 100 mile route and remained his favourite ever ride.

100% of the entry fee and money raised will go directly to the official charity partner CALM.

According to CALM (the Campaign Against Living Miserably), suicide is the biggest single cause of death amongst young men in the UK right now, a scary statistic and one we want to tackle.

After three of Nelson’s favourite foods each ride has a culinary flavour:

- Chicken Curry: 40km (25miles) £15
- Spag Bol: 80km (50miles) £20
- The Full Monty: 160km (100miles) £25

Please note: Entries are non-transferable and entry via the British Cycling website only here.
