Event 19 May 2013

Once again the tried and tested Little Lumpy Cycle Sportive is back for 2013 and will take place on Sunday May 19. Now in its fifth year it is bigger and better than ever.

There are three levels of endurance:
Sport - 38 miles with 1970 ft climbing
Challenge - 59 miles with 4073 ft of climbing
Epic – 100 miles with 7320 ft climbing

In order to provide you with free parking, changing facilities, showers, and all the comforts of a modern clubhouse we have a new start and finish location within Haslemere, at the Woolmer Hill Sports Association Clubhouse. The routes will take you through the prettiest parts of the Sussex and Hampshire Weld to the South Downs at South Harting where the Challenge and Epic routes branch off to take you over some testing little climbs.

Those of you who have ridden with us before will know that the food is all home cooked and is now legendary but for this year when you arrive we will offer you free tea or coffee and a bacon butty to get you in the mood. All the normal on route feeding stations will be in place and when you finish you can shower, change and relax with a drink in the clubhouse and discuss the days riding with your friends. We are even putting on live music for you to listen to.

This not for profit event will raise money for Haslemere Festival and Haslemere Museum which is celebrating its 125thanniversary, therefore Little Lumpy not only provides you with a great days riding but is a great way to support the local community.
