February sees the first ever Bike and Triathlon Show come to Manchester Central. Taking place over the weekend of 16-17 February, the show promises to be the one show that any cyclist or triathlete will find too good to miss with top brands and names from the worlds of bike and tri all under one substantial roof.
To kick things off in style on the Sunday morning (17 Feb), the organisers have now announced that there will also be a sportive starting and finishing at Manchester Central. Registration to the sportive will also include a ticket to the main show with secure bike storage laid on at the venue for visitors and sportive riders alike.
There is a choice of two timed courses – a 46 mile route and a 77 miler – and each course will feature stunning scenery, feed stations run by USN and all finishers will receive an event T-shirt. The price for both is £30 and this includes entry to the show after the ride.
The shorter 46-mile route has been carefully designed to be achievable by a wide range of ability levels and features just over 1181m of vertical climbing. The longer is much more challenging with 2625m of climbing in total. Due to the timing of the event, the longer route may have to be modified on the day should adverse weather set in.
So get your bikes ready and register today for what is set to be a great kick off to the sportive season in the unique central Manchester setting.
