New Company Broomwagon.cc is offering cyclists a weekend of very well supported, serious cycling in the beautiful Welsh countryside. The first “Legs of Legend” event takes place on 3 August and numbers are strictly limited to 30.
The cost is £199 per rider which includes all food and two night’s accommodation. The route takes in some stunning parts of Wales that are off the usual tourist routes. It includes two feed stations with food, CNP products, first aid equipment and repair tools. A support vehicle will also be following the course
Cycling enthusiast and outdoor instructor, Joss Benyon has set up a new company to give cyclists a high quality sportive experience, beginning with the “legs of legend”.
Joss Benyon from Broomwagon.cc said: "It is about a whole new way to enjoy sportives. With lower numbers of riders, events are designed to be more personal – entries are kept to around 30 riders, for a more enjoyable experience and well supplied feed stations. These events will test legs and take in some of the most fantastic scenery in the U.K. Ideal for cyclists to check their legs before a big etape, sportive or even as a challenge to be proud of in its own right."
Legs of Legend Itinerary:
1800: Arrive and get stuck in to a good ol’ pasta party.
0700: A hearty breakfast before the big ride.
0800: The punishing 165km ride with 2500m of climbing added in for good measure begins.
1900: Another belly-filler dinner, followed by a talk from an endurance cycling coach.
0700: Fill up with breakfast before the next ride.
0800: Although not as big as the first day, it’ll still be a challenge for tired legs-120km with 1700m of climbing.
More events are planned with further dates to be announced soon.
