The hotly anticipated route details for Ride Around London, the new charity sportive organised by Access Sport, Andy Cook Cycling and Sponsors Chain Reaction Cycles, have now been announced.

This exciting new 115 mile and half route challenge takes in great cycling such as the newly resurfaced Herne Hill Velodrome and the infamous Box Hill, as well as taking you around the capital through picturesque scenery and country lanes.

A sneak peek of the route elevation can be seen here, but if you want to see the full route you have to go to www.accesssport.org.uk/ride-around-london/event-route.

The Ride Around London event route has been designed by cycle tour veteran Andy Cook and is designed to be both challenging and rewarding. Novices beware of Box Hill, there is a reason it is such a famous hill! But at least it is early on in the ride and after that you shouldn't expect too many surprises.

Online registration closes in just under a week on Tuesday 20 September at 6pm, with limited amount of registration places available on the day. Nearly 800 riders are signed up already, and if the event reaches capacity before next Tuesday you will not be able to enter.

So if you want a chance at this exciting route register today at www.accesssport.org.uk/ridearound-london.
