The Howleer returns for its second edition on Sunday 28 September with 50 and 80 mile routes leading though the Buckinghamshire countryside, into the Chilterns and back across the Aylesbury Vale.

Whiteleaf Hill, Pink Hill, Bledlow Ridge, Haw Lane, Walters Ash, Naphill and the Hugenden Valley are just some of the highlights of the opening 50 miles but it’s not all about climbing.

The 50 and 80 mile routes lead riders in a figure of eight so that they have the choice to either return back to the start at the 50 mile point or continue on for the full 80.

Both routes are fully supported with two food stations, broom wagon and a web published results service.

There are no plastic medals but entrants will receive:

  • A free copy of Cyclist Magazine (first 250 entries)
  • A free online training session with ‘Manx Royalty’ at 3LC.TV
  • A free online event certificate
