Cycle Sport Volunteers

In the world of competitive cycling there are lots of opportunities to get involved as an event volunteer and find yourself in the thick of the action. Covering six Cycle Sport disciplines there is something for everyone with the wide range of roles available.

Why not get involved as a commissaire and experience the race in one of the best positions there is! Their role is vital in ensuring the safety of the riders and safeguarding fair play. Commissaires get training and clothing to carry out their role and are an integral part of every event team.

Event Organisers help us deliver over 3700 events per year to ensure over 200,000 riders can take part in the sport we all love. Events range from Go Race for riders just getting started right through to National Championships and everything in between!

There are many more opportunities to get involved in roles including marshals, NEG riders, sign on stewards, lap board and bell operators, gear checkers, pit marshals, commentators, whips and timekeepers to name just a few.
