What is an MBLA Tutor?
All MBLA Tutors are registered with Scottish Cycling and are qualified to run and assess, as a minimum, MBLA Trail Cycle Leader training courses and assessments. An MBLA Tutor is an appointed position in agreement with Scottish Cycling and the MBLA Committee.

Aspiring MBLA Tutors must hold a Mountain Bike Leader award and are expected to have experience of leading, coaching and/or instructing in at least one outdoor activity. They should be prepared to submit an outline business plan at the time of application to become a Candidate Tutor.
