Tickets have now gone on sale for the Welsh Cycling Awards for Saturday 20 October at Mercure Cardiff Holland House Hotel and Spa, Cardiff

With nominations from across a wide spectrum of cycling categories here in Wales the evening will celebrate the success of both our world beating athletes whilst also recognising the selfless work undertaken by our army of volunteers at grass roots level.

There will be eight awards on offer, including Lifetime Contribution to Cycling in Wales to recognise individuals who have made a significant impact on cycling in Wales.

Anne Adams-King, Chief Executive at Welsh Cycling said: "We are thrilled to be hosting the Awards Dinner this year.

"2018 has been another extremely successful year for Welsh Cycling; and particularly an extra special one, as the year of the Commonwealth Games"

21 riders represented Team Wales across Track, Sprint and Mountain Bike at Gold Coast; bringing home six medals; including a medal in both the men and women's road race for the first time in history for Wales.

The evening will not only honour the wonderful work of our volunteers within the sport, but will mark a celebration of the athletes who's represented Wales at Gold Coast 2018 in April and of course the achievements of Geraint this summer.

Anne Adams-King added: "We encourage all of our clubs and members to join us in our celebrations; and we hope to see them there."
