Following complications with the venue for the 2018 edition of the championships Welsh Cycling, The South West BMX region and Bristol BMX have worked together to integrate the championships into the Bristol round of the South West series on the 22nd of July.
“We are extremely grateful to the South West Region and Bristol BMX for accommodating the championships into the event for this year."
"Although taking place outside of Wales, it’s a compromise we are more than happy to make to ensure the championships remain on the calendar after a very successful first year at Maesteg."
