The OVO Energy Women’s Tour will cover new ground in 2018, as the race visits Wales for the first time in its history. Dolgellau will host the start of Stage Five, a potentially decisive day in the battle for the OVO Energy Green Jersey, one that finishes in Colwyn Bay 122 kilometres later on Sunday June 17th.

Wales has hosted the OVO Energy Tour of Britain in nine different years since its relaunch in 2004; many roads that have appeared in that race will be tackled by the best female professionals in the world on 17 June. Riders will head through Snowdonia National Park during this stage, set entirely in Gwynedd and Conwy, which finishes on Colwyn Bay’s Promenade.

The Route:

Start, Dolgellau 10:30am

Barmouth 10:55am

Harlech 11:25am

Nant Gwynant 12:35pm

Betws-y-Coed 13:00pm

Conwy 13:35pm

Finish, Colwyn Bay 14:00pm
