Shriever and Cullen take double wins at UEC BMX European Cup

Great Britain Cycling Team’s Bethany Shriever won rounds three and four of the UEC BMX European Cup to maintain her 100% record in the competition.

The 18-year-old won the junior women’s category on both Saturday and Sunday in Erp, Netherlands, to follow up her double triumph in Zolder.

Teammate Blaine Ridge-Davis continued her strong form with second behind Shriever at round three as the pair prepare for the opening rounds of the UCI BMX Supercross World Cup in Papendal on 6 and 7 May.

Cullen double

There was also a double win for Junior Academy rider Ross Cullen in the 15/16 boys category. Cullen has now won three consecutive rounds having finished third in the opening event in Belgium.

Kye Whyte was second in the junior men's race at round four as he prepares for his UCI BMX Supercross World Cup debut in Papendal, Netherlands.

Rounds five and six of the UEC BMX European Cup take place in Prague, Czech Republic on 20-21 May.
