Following the postponement of the Go-Ride Wales Conference, Welsh Cycling will deliver regional workshops to clubs from April.

Regional Cycling Development Officers will bring bite-size workshops to clubs in North, West and South Wales. The workshops will be themed each month and will be tailored to the needs of key club officials, volunteers and coaches, as well as providing practical guidance on how to create and maintain a happy and healthy club.

The workshops are open to all clubs affiliated to Welsh Cycling, with priority going to Go-Ride clubs. Welsh Cycling will be trialling webcasting from a number of the workshops, to enable clubs who find it difficult to travel to still benefit from the workshops.

Mark Allen, Development Team Leader said: “We know that clubs benefit from hearing what other clubs do and sharing ideas with examples of best practice. It’s vitally important for the success of our sport that we equip our clubs with the best support on offer to provide fun, safe and friendly sporting environment for our members”.
