Great Britain Cycling Team out in force for round three of Revolution Track Series in London

Great Britain Cycling Team will be out in force at round three of the Revolution Series at the Lee Valley VeloPark on Saturday.

A blend of Olympic Podium, Senior Academy and Junior Academy Programme riders will race across sprint and endurance events.

Podium Programme athletes Callum Skinner and Lewis Oliva - who competed at the first round of the UCI Track Cycling World Cup - are joined by Senior Academy rider Joe Truman and Junior Academy athlete Alex Joliffe in the men’s sprint and keirin events.

They form part of an 18-rider field that features sprinters from the Czech Republic, China, and Brazil.

Senior Academy endurance riders Emily Kay, Dannielle Khan, Emily Nelson, Manon Lloyd, Melissa Lowther, Annasley Park, Abbie Dentus and Megan Barker are all set to race across the points, scratch and elimination races in the capital.

Junior Academy riders Eleanor Dickinson and Rebecca Raybould are also involved as they gain experience in a strong field.

Joe Holt and Matt Bostock, from the Senior Academy, form part of an outstanding men’s endurance line-up that features 2012 Olympic champions Geraint Thomas and Pete Kennaugh as they return to the scene of their triumph in the colours of Team Sky.

One Pro Cycling, Orica-GreenEDGE, Team Wiggins and JLT Condor will also field riders.

Racing runs from 1pm-4pm and 7pm-10pm.
