The Great Britain Cycling Team will return to action at the Manchester Para-cycling International between 13-15 November at the National Cycling Centre.

The event will play host to some of the best para-cyclists in the world as the Great Britain Cycling Team look to secure some vital qualifying points for the Paralympics in 2016.

The action will kick-off on Friday evening with the Team Sprint and 1km time-trials. Saturday’s racing will see individual pursuit and 500m time-trial events before finishing up on Sunday with the sprint events.

The event is not ticketed and will be free for members of the public to attend.

Great Britain Cycling Team para-cycling head coach, Jon Norfolk, said:

“We’re really looking forward to getting in some high-quality racing in Manchester. The event presents a fantastic opportunity for us to secure some vital qualifying points for the Paralympics.

“To be able to do this in an environment where our riders train every day without having to factor in travel to another country is a huge advantage for us and should allow the riders to produce some excellent performances.
