Applications are invited from riders wishing to be considered for the 2016 Welsh Cycling Junior Programme. This programme will focus on the long term development of the athletes in the disciplines of road, track and mountain bike cross country.

The programme has a proven track record with several riders reaching the podium at the UCI Junior World Championships in recent years and graduating to the British Cycling Senior Academy. Selected athletes will be provided with the following support:

  • Individual coaching and training prescription;
  • Residential training camps;
  • International competition;
  • A comprehensive education programme.

Non-programme athletes identified as having potential may be invited to guest on programme activities through the year.
