Charlotte Green finished seventh on a challenging day for the Great Britain Cycling Team at the UEC European BMX Championships on Sunday.
Green reached the elite women’s final in Erp, Netherlands as Belgian Elke Vanhoof took gold ahead of Denmark’s Simone Christensen and Dutch rider Laura Smulders.
In the elite men’s competition, Quillan Isidore exited in the 1/8 finals and Kyle Evans the 1/4 finals.

In Saturday’s challenge categories, there were superb wins for Britain’s Lucy Hutt in the under-8 girls and Ralph Grimmett in the under-8 boys.
Ryan Martin won gold in the under-13 boys and Luke Shriever was victorious in the under-12 boys, which also saw Matthew Gilston and James Campbell in the final for Great Britain.
Nathan Wood took silver in the under-14 boys, with Darcie Taylor collecting bronze in the under-13 girls.
Green, Evans and Isidore will next head to the UCI BMX World Championships in Zolder, Belgium from 21-25 July.
