British Cycling’s Breeze network was established to get more women on their bikes, and for the fourth consecutive year, the Big Breeze Bike Ride aims to do just that – and it’s coming to Wales.
As part of the UK’s biggest ever initiative to boost female cycling, Breeze will be providing the biggest number of bike riding opportunities over one single weekend, Saturday 27 and Sunday 28 June, and they’re calling on local women to dust off their bikes and get involved.
Organised by volunteer Breeze champions, these free local rides will see like-minded women share the two-wheeled fun.
Natalie Justice, British Cycling’s Women’s Cycling Manager, said: ‘The Big Breeze Bike Ride is always a fantastic weekend celebration of cycling, with hundreds of bike rides taking place throughout the UK, and thousands of women taking part, having fun with friends. With rides for all abilities and experience levels, it’s the perfect time to dig your bike out of the shed and get involved!
