Beth Fisher joins Welsh Cycling Board of Directors

A new director has been appointed to Welsh Cycling’s board, the national governing body for cycling in Wales.

An international hockey player for Wales, Beth Fisher brings her experience of high performance sport and expertise in marketing and communications to the Welsh Cycling board, in order to boost the commercial portfolio of the governing body.

Beth has had a keen interest in Welsh sport and has significant experience working in the sport sector with previous roles held at Welsh Netball, Hockey Wales and Welsh Gymnastics. In her current role as UK Sport Manager and Medical Business Development Manager for Sigvaris Britain Ltd, Beth has transformed the brand into a successful UK operation amongst the top British professional sports teams.

Chair of Welsh Cycling, Nick Smith, welcomed Beth to the Welsh Cycling board: “I am looking delighted to have Beth Fisher join our board. She is not only experienced in the world of Welsh sport, she brings with her significant commercial experience that can only be of benefit to Welsh Cycling.”

Beth Fisher said: “This is an exciting role for me where I will be able to combine my commercial and marketing experiences with my love for Welsh sport, and cycling in particular. I look forward to getting involved with Welsh Cycling and sharing my passion for sport with members.”
