New Look Level 1 Award in Coaching coming to North Wales!

Welsh Cycling recently ran its first new look Level 1 Coaching Course in South Wales during March. Our first look at this updated course proved a hit as we were oversubscribed for the course and received some very positive feedback.

The course uses blended learning combining online learning with face-to-face delivery methods. The online component is delivered through British Cycling’s new virtual learning environment, British Cycling Learning. The traditional face-to-face days follow, but are practical focused as a lot of the theory is covered online.

Alistair Waldron the Workforce Officer for Welsh Cycling was very impressed with the new course; “We have received some very positive feedback from our first course, with coaches really enjoying the face to face days. The first course filled far quicker than we could of hoped so fingers crossed the popularity continues when it comes to Marsh Tracks.”
