Get into mountain biking with Welsh Cycling this Easter as the first Mountain Bike Dirt Day hits Cwmcarn Forest!

Welsh Cycling will host the first Mountain Bike Dirt Day at Cwmcarn Forest on Monday 30 March 2015, with world champion Manon Carpenter.

At the Mountain Bike Dirt Day you can get into cross country mountain biking, with tips and advice from world class athletes and ride the XC trials with Manon Carpenter. There will also be skills and pump track activities from Welsh Cycling coaches, culminating in fun challenges testing your new skills.

Manon Carpenter is looking forward to returning to Cwmcarn Forest, “Dirt Days are a great idea to get young people into mountain biking and giving them skills and confidence to go and race. I regularly ride the trails at Cwmcarn and have done since I was younger, so I'm really looking forward to coming along and joining in with the day!"

Mountain Bike Dirt Days are free and are for Welsh riders aged 13 – 16 who want to take their mountain bike skills to the next level and get into racing MTB XC in Wales and across the UK.
