Welsh Sports Association and GB Sport are offering Welsh sports clubs the opportunity to take part in a free workshop to help sports clubs deal with club finances.
Whether you are a coach, volunteer, committee member, or administrator, it is important to know what you and your organisation need to do to satisfy the many statutory and legal obligations or requirements a sports organisation has to adhere to, particularly when you could potentially be personally liable for any issues arising.
This interactive workshop details the requirements for sports organisations and coaches and provides an invaluable guide to the common problems and the solutions you may need to apply. Fully updated for 2015, the workshop enables those working and volunteering in sport to confidentially and comprehensively verify that they are/will be able to meet their obligations.
Delegates on the workshop get to work together in teams through the use of our interactive wireless keypads, participating in a fun quiz based on the subject matter being delivered – a great way to enliven what is a very ‘dry’ subject, and have some fun at the same time!
