British Cycling can confirm a cyclist has died following an incident near Bolton Abbey, North Yorkshire on Sunday February 15.

British Cycling president Bob Howden said: “This tragedy will be keenly felt in Yorkshire but the news will also sadden everyone involved in the cycling community. My thoughts and those of everyone at British Cycling are with the rider's family and friends.”
