Builth Wells welcomes the 2014 Welsh Cyclo Cross Championships this weekend, as the event heads to the RWAS Showground on Sunday 7 December where new Welsh champions will be crowned.

John Lloyd Racing Events Ltd are promoting the 2014 Championships, which has attracted over 200 entries across all categories, from Under 8s to Veterans.

Racing begins at 10.15am with the Under 8s, with Senior categories competing from 11.30am. The event will also be featured on S4C's flagship sports programme Clwb on Sunday.

The Welsh Cyclo Cross League come to a close before Christmas, with the final Christmas 'Cross on Sunday 14 December at Mountain View Ranch, Caerphilly. The British National Cyclo Cross Championships also head to Wales in the New Year, with Abergavenny hosting the event on 10 and 11 January.
