Welsh Cycling have confirmed the team to represent Wales at the International Three Days in Axel competing 17 - 19 May 2013.

Wales' Zac May, Scott Davies and Stephen Williams will be joined by GB ODP rider Jake Ragan at the tough european stage race.

Scott Davies, Zac May and Jake Ragan recently competed at the UCI juniors Nations' Cup event, Course de la Paix as part of the Great Britian ODP squad. Stephen Williams will compete at his first european stage race in Axel.

The International Three Days in Axel is now in it's 32nd year, with close to 200 riders making up the field of junior men. With four stages over three days, the riders will experience the cobbled roads and Flemish hills as the courses cross between The Netherlands and Belgium.

Wales Junior Coach, Mike Heaven said: "The International Three Days in Axel is a tough race for the junior riders as it encompasses a variety of terrain and challenging climbs. Being a UCI 2.1 event, there will be a strong international field making the competition tough but the experience will be inavaluable to the Welsh riders."
