Paralympic cyclists Mark Colbourne and Jody Cundy will be at the Wales National Velodrome on Sunday (8 July) as Newport hosts a cycling bonanza.

Mark and Jody are members of the Team GB Paralympic cycling team who will compete in London this summer and will be on hand to give cycling tips and sign autographs.

Pre bookable drop in sessions will be held at 11am, 1pm and 3pm and you can come along and have a go on the spectacular 250 metre banked track and learn track cycling basics from one of the qualified coaches.

You can also join in with Sky Ride Local rides around Newport. These are suitable for all the family and will leave the velodrome at 10am, 12pm and 2pm. Just bring your bike and cycling helmet along.

Cycle Tots sessions will also be available between 11am - 2pm for children aged two to five years old.
