Welsh Cycling is looking to appoint an Assistant Coach to join the Performance Team.

This individual will be a key member of the team supporting the work of the Head Coach. They will play an important role in supporting riders capable of medal winning performances in the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games.

The key tasks associated with this role include providing assistance to the Head Coach in the delivery of performance programme activities and taking coaching responsibility for the sprint and tandem programmes under the guidance of the Head Coach.

The successful candidate will have a demonstrable knowledge of cycle racing across all disciplines, excellent communication and organisation skills and be in possession of or working towards a level 2 coaching qualification through British Cycling.
